An Aussie charge failed to materialise in the final round of the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open at Dundonald Links.
The extraordinary emergence of England's Lottie Woad continues unabated, the 21-year-old completing a three-stroke win in her very first tournament as a professional.
Queensland pair Karis Davidson and Cassie Porter (pictured) began the final round in a tie for ninth 10 strokes back of Woad but both shot 2-over 74 to drop into a tie for 21st alongside fellow Australian Minjee Lee (71).
One the back of a superb 6-under 66 in Round 3, Davidson was even par through 10 holes of her final round but dropped shots at 11, 13 and 15, pulling one back with a birdie at the final hole.
With two birdies and two bogeys, Porter made the turn in even par but made four bogeys in the space of seven holes to also drop outside the top 20.
A week out from the final major of 2025, the AIG Women's Open, Lee was knocking on the door of another top-10 finish but made bogeys at 16 and 17 to join Davidson and Porter at 5-under for the tournament.
