The equal best round of the day has earned Su Oh her first top-10 finish in almost two years at the ShopRite LPGA Classic in New Jersey.

Without a top-10 finish since this same event when it was played in October 2021, the Victorian fired a closing round of 7-under 64 to climb into a tie for sixth, the best of the final round along with Americans Marissa Steen and Lauren Stephenson.

Making just her second start of the season having had to return to the LPGA Q Series at the end of 2022, Oh surged around the turn of her final round. She picked up birdies at eight, nine and 11 to move to 4-under on her round, further advancing up the leaderboard with birdies at 14, 16 and 18 as reigning Women's Australian Open champion Ashleigh Buhai completed a one-stroke win.

There were top-10 finishes too for Robyn Choi and Cassie Porter at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship in Michigan.

The pair were coming in after finishing locked together in a tie for fourth in their previous Epson Tour start, the Champions Fore Change Invitational.

As New Zealand's Amelia Garvey had to settle for second one shot back of Siyun Liu, Porter (69) and Choi (72) earned a share of eighth to further improve their position in the Race For the Card standings.

Playing in her first tournament of the year, shock first round leader Soo Jin Lee finished tied for 28th as Hira Naveed, Emily Mahar and Jess Whiting all missed the cut.
