New Zealand’s Munchin Keh braved the cool early morning temperatures to lead at the halfway mark of the Navigate Advisors Wagga Wagga WPGA Pro-am at Wagga Wagga Country Club today.
The 30-year-old played in the morning wave which saw temperatures dipping to the 8 degrees celsius mark as the players began their opening round, but that certainly didn't deter the eldest of a trio of Keh sisters currently competing on the WPGA Tour in 2023.
Keh carded 7 birdies and just a solitary bogey at the par-3 seventh hole to shoot a superb 6 under par round of 67, and will take a three-shot lead into tomorrow’s second round over Queenslander Jordan O’Brien and Sydney’s Amy Chu who both shot 3-under par rounds of 70.
The second and final round will be played in two shotgun starts at 7:30 am and 1:00 pm on Friday 9th March, with the leading groups playing in the afternoon.
Entry is free and spectators are welcome.
