Dottie Ardina’s win at the Ballarat Icons Pro-am at Ballarat Golf Club on Sunday has ensured that the 26-year-old will take a 400 point lead into the final two events of the series, the Australian Ladies Classic Bonville and the Women’s NSW Open.
Ardina has been in outstanding form since arriving in Australia just under three weeks ago. The Philippine star finished 3rd at the ALPG Qualifying Tournament, 19th at the Windaroo Lakes GC ALPG Pro-am, 7th at the Findex Yamba Pro-am, 2nd at the Aoyuan International Moss Vale Pro-am after losing in a sudden-death playoff, before finally getting across the line to win in Ballarat.
In second place on the 2020 ClubCar Series points table is Frenchwoman Celine Herbin, while England’s Holly Clyburn, German Laura Fuenfsteuck and Belgian Manon De Roey round out the top five spots.
A Bonus Pool of $15,000 will be distributed among the leading 5 players following the Worrell’s NSW Women’s Open, with the winner of the 2020 Club Car Series taking home a cheque for $6500.
Points will be awarded to those finishing in the top-20 at the Australian Ladies Classic Bonville and the Women’s NSW Open.
