Former world number one and current Olympic champion Inbee Park cruised to victory today at the ISPS Handa Women`s Australia Open today at Royal Adelaide Golf Club, shooting a final round.74 for a 3 shot victory

Park had started the day with a 3-shot lead over her younger South Korean compatriot Ayean Cho, and uncharacteristically stumbled at the par 4 opening hole with a bogey, before bouncing back with birdies at the 3rd and 4th holes to steady the ship as you would expect of the seven time major winner.

On a day when low scores were difficult to come by, Park was content to plod along making pars, which she did until another dropped shot at the 9th hole saw her head into the final 9 holes nursing a 4 shot lead.

The LPGA Hall Of Famer was left to watch as those around her faultered in the windy and dry conditions, the only real challenges coming from Amy Olson who shot a final round of 70, and Chinese star Yu Liu who actually pulled within 2 shots of Park after a birdie at 15, only to drop out of contention with bogies at the final 3 holes.

Park`s lead was again reduced to 3 shots after a bogey of her own at the par 3 16th, however when the pressure was on Park`s experience shined through, she made no mistakes at the penultimate hole making a solid par and a closes with another  on 18 for a final round 74 and a 4 round total of ..278, 14-under par

American Amy Olsen finished alone in 2nd place at -11, with

Aussie sensation Hannah Green could not make any inroads on the leaders today, the 2019 KPMG Womens PGA Championship could only manage a final round 74 to tie for 13th place, Minjee Lee finished in a tie for 25th, Robyn Choi 34th, Katherine Kirk 70th, while Karis Davidson finished last of the 81 players to make the 36-hole cut.
