Aussie stars Steph Na and Whitney Hillier will get their 2020 seasons underway today when they tee it up alongside 82 ALPG professionals from 23 different countries at the ALPG Windaroo Lakes Pro-am.

Hillier is the highest ranked Australian player in the field this week and finished off her 2019 Ladies European Tours campaign in style, finishing 7th at the Estrella Damm Ladies Open, 4th at the Hero Women’s Indian Open and 13th at the Ladies Spanish Open. There is no doubt that the West Australian is yet to fulfill her talent and will be motivated by the success in 2019 of her close friend and compatriot Hannah Green.

While Hillier has chosen to focus on the LET Na has focused much of her energy the past two years stateside competing on the Symetra Tour. The South Australian came tantalisingly close to attaining her LPGA Tour card for 2020 making it through to the Stage 3 Q Series. While disappointed at the end result the South Australian will be encouraged by her solid form in 2019 and will be one to watch on the ALPG Tour in 2020.

While Hillier and Na will be looking to get their 2020 campaigns off to a fast start, there is plenty of other talent on show at Windaroo Lakes today.
Robyn Choi should again be a threat coming off a win yesterday at the ALPG Qualifying Tournament, while youngsters Hira Naveed, Julienne Soo and Becky Kay all have the talent to contend.
Other international stars to watch will be Korean Hye Ji Lee, Taiwanese star Pei Yun Chien and Philippino star Dottie Ardina.

The pro-am will also mark the first event of the 2020 ALPG ClubCar Series.
