The Shoalhaven Superheroes Premier’s Cup & ALPG Shoalhaven Superheroes Rush - Charity Challenge will take place tomorrow 18th May at Nowra Golf Club in the Shoalhaven region of NSW.

Eighteen ALPG professionals will be teeing it up for the $15,000 prizemoney on offer for the professional individual event, while the amateur players will be competing for $17,000 cash on offer which will be donated to the charities of the winners` choice.

Queenslander Amy Walsh will be one of the favourites to take out the professional title coming off a solid 2018 ALPG Tour season, while West Australian Breanna Gill is the in-form player coming off a last start victory in the Qantas Golf Club Gold Coast Challenge which sealed victory in the 2018 ALPG Club Car Series.

Kiwi Hanee Song and Wollongong`s Tahnia Ravnvak are both competing on the China LPGA Tour in 2018 and either could easily contend for the trophy, while former European Tour Player and 4-time ALPG winner Bree Arthur is no doubt the most credentialled player in the field, and will be hoping to find the form that saw her finish second in the 2013 Spanish Open and secure 8 top-ten LET finishes.

Local players Katy Jarochowicz, Samantha Whittle and Elle Sandak will be sure to create some extra interest, as will former ALPG winner Jenna Hunter from New Zealand and talented South Australian youngster Kristalle Blum. 

The pro-am will be played over 18 holes and will commence at 8:00 am at Nowra Golf Club on Friday 18th May. Entry is free and spectators are encouraged to attend.
