• Davies-Graham to defend Brisbane Invitational

Queensland`s Ellen Davies-Graham will be hoping she can replicate her form from twelve months ago as she sets to defend the Seasons Aged Care Brisbane Invitational title she won here in 2017 with a superb 6 under par round of 68.

The win was Davies-Graham`s first on the ALPG Tour, and she comes into this year`s event a little shy of match practice after having only played one event on the ALPG Tour in 2018, the ISPS Handa Women`s Australian Open. The 25-year-old is currently balancing keeping competitive with university life and part-time work which provides its obvious challenges.

Davies-Graham will need to be at her best tomorrow as she competes against a quality field which includes Australians Whitney Hillier, Stephanie Na and Emily McLennan, multiple Ladies European Tour winner Felicity Johnson and Scottish star Michele Thomson.

Popular Canadian Kyla Inaba captured her first ALPG title on Wednesday at Yamba Golf Club in the BWAC Regional Employment Services  Pro-am and will be looking for another strong showing tomorrow at an event she has competed at regularly. Inaba is also the hot favourite to take out the $5000 bonus put forward by Yamba and McLeod, nicknamed the \"McYamba Cup\" by the players, for the player who wins the most prizemoney across the two events.

Fifty-five players from twelve different countries will tee up tomorrow for the $30,000 prizemoney on offer. Play will begin at 7:30 am tomorrow morning at McLeod Country Golf Club, spectators are welcome and entry is free.
