A star-studded field has assembled for the ActewAGL Canberra Classic which will get underway tomorrow morning at Royal Canberra Golf Club.
The first groups will tee off at 7:30 am, and the galleries are in for a real treat with some fantastic pairings to watch.

The first of the feature groups will get underway from the 1st tee at Royal Canberra Golf Club at 7:52 am with Australia’s Rebecca Artis paired alongside England’s Holly Clyburn and Chinese Olympian Xiyu Lin.

They will be followed at 8:03 by Australia’s number one and world number 17 Minjee Lee, 2013 Australian Open Champion and winner of 57 international tournaments Jiyai Shin, the highly touted European number 1 Georgia Hall.

At 8:14 2019 European Solheim Cup Captain Catriona Matthew will play alongside the long-hitting Dutch woman Anne Van Dam and former world number one Laura Davies. Davies for many years was recognised as the longest driver in the women`s game and will no doubt be watching Van Dam closely the first 2 rounds.

One of the groups most definitely worth a look tomorrow morning is the trio consisting of 2016 Women’s World Long Drive Champion and current world long drive record holder Kiwi Phillis Meti, American powerhouse Alexis Belton who was herself a semi-finalist in the 2017 Women’s World Long Drive Championship, and American Andrea Wong who is also renowned for her driving power.
They will be teeing off the first tee at 9:20 am and there are sure to be some fireworks out there!

They will be followed at 9:31 by Australians Sarah Jane Smith and Whitey Hillier, who will be joined by Englishwoman Florentyna Parker.

Of the afternoon pairings, Australia’s number 2 ranked player Katherine Kirk will play alongside former Ladies Masters Champion American Cheyenne Woods and Swede Pernilla Lindberg at 1:03 pm from the 10th tee.

They will be followed at 1:14 by Indian sensation Aditi Ashok, 2016 Ladies European Tour number 1 American Beth Allen and 2013 Solheim Cup heroine Swede Caroline Hedwall.

At 1:25 Australia’s Sarah Kemp will play alongside former Oates Vic Open Champ Marianne Skarpnord and the talented Englishwoman Mel Reid.
