• Artis and Green share the spoils at Links Hope Island ALPG Pro-am

Gold Coast resident Rebecca Artis and West Australian rookie Hannah Green both shot superb 6 under par rounds of 66 to share the spoils at the Links Hope Island ALPG Pro-am on the Gold Coast today.

All 70 professionals teed off in brilliant sunshine this afternoon in a shotgun start format, and with daylight quickly fading at the end of play the decision was taken whereby Green and Artis would be declared joint winners.

In third place after shooting an impressive four under par round of 68 was Scotswoman Michele Thomson, with compatriot and Oatlands Classic winner Gemma Dryburgh, Englishwoman Felicity Johnson and 2016 ALPG Tour rookie of the year Hayley Bettencourt all shooting 2 under par rounds of 70 to be tied for 4th place.

The Links Hope Island ALPG pro-am was the fourth event of the 2017 ALPG ClubCar series, and it is the impressive rookie Green who will take a commanding lead into the three upcoming ALPG major tournaments.
