Victorian Stacey Keating recorded her best finish of the year when she finish tied fourth in the Buick Championship in China.
Keating started the tournament at the Shanghai Qizhong Garden Golf course with a career low nine-under-par 63. However the two-time LET winner couldn’t repeat the performance posting consecutive rounds of 75 to be at three-under-par heading into the final round.
The 28-year-old posted seven birdies and three bogeys on Sunday to sign for an impressive four-under-par 68 and move up the leaderboard. She finished at seven-under-par and tied for fourth in the co-sanctioned event between the LET and the China LPGA.
The tournament was eventually won by local favourite and World No. 5 Shanshan Feng. Feng posted rounds of 65, 67, 69 and 70 to finish atop of the leaderboard at 17-under-par, she finished six clear of South Korean Hyeon Seo Kang.
NSW`s Rebecca Artis, who was in a share of fifth heading into Sunday, eventually finished in a tie for 11th at five-under-par after an even par round. Fellow compatriot, WA’s Whitney Hillier finished tied for 36th at four-over-par.
