NSW Nikki Garrett will be looking to win her first Club Car Series Bonus Pool come Sunday afternoon at the conclusion of the Bing Lee / Fujitsu Women’s NSW Open at Oatlands Golf Club in Sydney.

Garrett is in the box seat as she leads the Series after winning the BWAC Regional Employment and Community Services ALPG Pro-am at Yamba in January.  She also secured valuable points in the McLeod ALPG Pro-am and Renault Castle Hill Pro-am.  Garrett sits atop of the points table with 688.75.  She holds 175 point advantage over NSW’s Rachel Hetherington.

For Hetherington, trying to win the Club Car Series was one of her goals at the start of the ALPG season, “I wanted to play as well as I could through the Club Car Series, it is a fantastic “additional incentive” for all us during the season. ”

“I have had a great summer and thoroughly enjoyed being back playing on the ALPG.  The ALPG run such a great tour, it’s a busy schedule, but it has been fantastic, I have enjoyed getting to know the girls playing now.”

“To win the Club Car Series would be a great way to finish off my season.”

Sharing third place with 500 points are France’s Marion Ricordeau and American Beth Allen.  Outright fourth is Queensland Bree Arthur with 463.75 points, while New Zealand’s Liv Cheng is on 425 points.  Victorian Stacey Keating  is sixth with 350 points.

With double points on offer at this week’s final event, the Bing Lee / Fujitsu Women’s NSW Open there many players still in with an outside chance,  as the winner, if they have qualified for the Club Car Series, can earn up to 1,000 points.
