Lee had a slow start with a 4-over opening round, but a second round 71 ensured she made the cut, sitting in a tie for 41st and moving up to a tie for 16th with her final round surge. Lee finished at 1-over par, 10 strokes back from winner Narita Misuzu, who netted 24 million Yen (Approx AUD $250,000). Lee will remain in Japan over the coming week as she prepares for the US Open Sectional Qualifying on May 19 at the Higashi Nagoya Country Club. The qualifying will take place over 36 holes, with up to four spots at the US Open available.
