• Keating moves in Top 20 at LPGA Q-School

Victorian Stacey Keating moved into the top 20 during the second round of the LPGA Q-School being played in Florida.

The Victorian, who started the day tied for 48th, carded a two-under-par 70 to be at two-under and finished the day tied for 16th.

NSW`s Emma de Groot (69) and another Victorian Breanna Elliott (72) are two shots further back at even par and tied for 43rd position. Stephanie Na (74), Rebecca Artis (73) and Frances Bondad (74) are all at three-over and share 80th.

Kristie Smith had a better day and shot an even par round of 72, while Julia Boland, who was the leading Australian after the first round, had a disappointing 77 to fall back to four-over with Smith. They both are tied for 92nd. Corie Hou (75), Inhong Lim (77) and New Zealand`s Cathryn Bristow (76) are all at five-over and tied for 109th.

American Jaye Marie Green continues her great form, posting a four-under-par 68 to go with her 62 to lead the field at 14-under-par. She is five shots clear of fellow compatriot Megan Grehan, with another American Tiffany Joh and South Korean Seon Hwa Lee a further shot back at 8-under.

The final stage of qualifying continues tomorrow.
