Australian Ladies Professional Golf (ALPG) is the sanctioning body for women’s professional golf in Australia and New Zealand. ALPG represents around 200 touring, club and teaching professionals and is recognised globally for its events, which include both the Australian and New Zealand Women’s Opens, the Australian Ladies Masters and the Victorian and NSW Women’s Opens.

As Executive Director, you will be responsible to the President and Board of Directors for the day-to-day leadership and management of this prestigious and high profile organisation. This will include implementing the ALPG’s strategic plan, exploring and converting sponsorship and revenue generating opportunities, co-ordinating operations at major tournaments, representing the interests of members, liaising with national and international bodies, and oversight of the ALPG’s governance, budgetary and financial management systems.

To be a strong contender for this role, you will need to be a highly motivated and proactive leader and manager with well honed commercial and marketing skills and a good understanding of the game of golf and of how golf tournaments are conducted. You will also need to have well developed interpersonal and diplomacy skills, a personal style that engenders trust and respect, and a high level of drive and energy. Previous senior level experience in professional sporting organisations will be well regarded.
