• Joanna Klatten Victorious Again

Klatten Victorious again in the Inghams Antill Park Pro-am.

France’s Joanne Klatten completed a dream start to her 2014 ALPG campaign picking up her second trophy in only four days. The winner of the BWAC Yamba ALPG pro-am on Tuesday fired a 5 under par 66 to win the Ingham Antill Park ALPG pro-am by shot from the New South Welsh pair of Sarah Kemp and Corie Hou.

Klatten, one of the most powerful hitters in the womens game played a flawless round, making five birdies and not a single bogey on her card.

Klatten said she was delighted with her start to the season, especially considering she has had a limited preparation due to the extremely harsh European winter. She accredited her strong start to her “team” back in France, and paid special thanks to her new conditioning coach Phillippe Glickman.

The two have been working hard in the gym, and Glickman has added boxing to her fitness regime which she says has helped her both physically and mentally. Klatten is known as one of the hardest workers on tour, both on and off the course and the hard work is certainly paying off for the talented 28 year Parisian.

The 2014 ALPG Club Car Series moves down the M5 motorway for the Moss Vale Golf Club ALPG Pro-am in the beautiful Southern Highlands, where former world number 1 Laura Davies begins her 2014 campaign on 13th and 14th January.
