Karrie Webb continued her move up the leaderboard during the third round of the Reignwood LPGA Classic in China.

Webb fired a flawless round of seven-under-par, 66 at the Pine Valley Golf Club in Beijing, which included closing with four consecutive birdies. The Queenslander has posted rounds of 71, 68 and 66 to be at 14-under-par for the tournament and outright fourth.

However, Webb is a massive seven shots behind current leader, local ShanShan Feng. The Rolex Rankings No. 9 has her entire nation behind her this week at the inaugural event and has a chance to claim her second LPGA Tour victory in from of her home country.

Feng shot her second-consecutive round of nine-under-par, 64 on Saturday and leads the star studded field at a massive 21-under-par. However Feng wont have an easy final round, American and Rolex World No. 3 Stacy Lewis is just one back after posting a very impressive 65 herself.

Tee times were pushed back 90 minutes before play began due to foggy conditions at the Nicklaus Course at Pine Valley Golf Club. Feng said she didn’t get off the start she wanted and was pushed by Lewis on the front nine to get into gear.

“At the beginning I was a little nervous,” said Feng. “It started a little slow. I made maybe two birdies at the first six or seven holes, and then when I got to the eighth, I made the long putt and then I started to make more birdies. And then I saw Stacy was making a lot of birdies, too, so I was like I need to catch up with her and then we just like birdies at the same time, or not at the same time.”

Outright third is Rolex World No. 1 Inbee Park (66) at 16-under-par, with Webb fourth and then South Korean Na Yeon Choi a further two shots back at 12-under-par. Unfortunately for the overnight leader, Jessica Korda, she struggled in the third round and eventually signed for a 76. The talented American is at 11-under-par and outright sixth heading into Sunday.

Fellow Queenslander Katherine Hull-Kirk has continued her consistent form this week, she has posted rounds of 72, 70 and 72 to be at five-under-par and tied for 22nd position. Victorian Lindsey Wright had her best round this week on Saturday, a three-under-par 70, to be at two-under-par total and tied for 42nd. Sarah Jane Smith is the final Australian in the field this week. She shares 53rd position at even-par, after posting a 75.
