The Australian and New Zealand contingent are performing well at the LET Pre-Qualifying stage of the LET Q-School being played at the Amelkis Golf Club & Al Maaden Golf Resort, Marrakeck, Morocco.

The pre-qualifying stage has been broken down into two fields, A and B, from which the top 45 and ties after four rounds will progress to the final stage.

After three rounds of the four round stage, Field A continues to be led by England’s amateur Emily Taylor. Six Australians are in this field. Whitney Hillier leads the way; she is tied for 11th position at four-under-par. Emily Perry (NZ) is at two-under-par and shares 20th, with Corie Hou a further shot back and tied for 23rd position. Sarah King (+3) is tied 35th, Sunny Park (+4) is tied 40th, Rebecca Green (+14) is tied 64th and Belinda Diamond (a) is well back in a tie for 71st.

In field B, another English player leads, Holly Clyburn at nine-under. There are only three Aussies and one New Zealander in this field. Nikki Campbell fired a four-under-par 68 to move up into a share of 13th position at four-under. Ashlee Dewhurst is two-under-par and tied for 21st, while Cathryn Bristow is a further shot adrift and shared 23rd position. Queensland’s Katelyn Must is tied for 30th at one-over-par.

At the Final Stage of qualifying, 90 holes of play are scheduled and approximately 60 players exempt to the final stage will join approximately 90 qualifiers from the first stage. The total field of 150 players approx. will play over both the Al Maaden and Amelkis Courses, while the final round will be played on the Al Maaden Course.

There will be a cut to the leading 60 players and ties after 72 holes and those players who fail to make the 72 hole cut will be eligible for Membership in Category 12a.

Finally, after the final round the top 30 players and ties will be eligible for Membership in Category 8a and will be ranked in final score order; if necessary a play-off will take place to establish 1st position. And those players who have made the cut and finish in positions 31 and below will be ranked according to score and be eligible for Membership in Category 9b.
