The Netherlands Dewi Claire Schreefel shot a new tournament record 63, but just failed to threaten the run-away leader Shanshan Feng of China, who is still going strong with just one round to play in the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters at the Emirates Golf Club.
Unfortunately for the Australian contingent, they are well back and out of contention.
Of the Australians in the field, Queenslander Bree Arthur leads the way at six-under-par after posting a third round of one-under-par 71. Arthur is outright 19th, while good friend and fellow compatriot Kristie Smith is a further shot back after a 69.
Stacey Keating (71), who is looking for top five finish on the money list to secure a start in the 2013 Women’s US Open, shares 31st position with fellow Aussie Sarah Kemp (72). The pair sits at three-under-par.
Nikki Garrett (73) is at even par and tied 47th, Danielle Montgomery (74) sits at 50th while Stephanie Na posted a 73 to be at two-over par and shared 57th position.
